Rising nine feet, Polytopia Strata extends the cycle’s landscape into a vertical accumulation of dissimilar components. Found objects, fabricated structures, and 3D-printed elements intersect with motors, illumination, projected image sequences, and a looping video. Its imposing height brings the proportions of an architectural model into an uneasy relationship with the human body, inviting the viewer to trace its layers and shifting configurations rather than apprehend the structure from a single position.

These constructions do not propose a posthuman society of emancipated objects or a seamless reconciliation between nature and technology. They are provisional topographies without an overarching master plan, evolving through the successive encounters of materials, mechanisms, and images. Their heterogeneous formations are not deviations from an intended order, but the very conditions through which an order takes shape.

Polytopia Strata gives speculative relationships a tangible architecture. Objects retain their particular identities even as they join, support, interrupt, or distance themselves from one another. Their intervals, affinities, and frictions bring questions ordinarily assigned to metaphysics into the domain of material experience. Rather than illustrating abstract concepts, the constructions allow these relationships to emerge through the disposition of their constituents.

What gradually becomes perceptible is a logic of coexistence, articulated through separations as much as connections. Moving images and mechanical activity continually alter the encounter, revealing an interplay of relations that no single perspective can capture. The distinction between body and mind, architecture and experience, is no longer imposed from without, but unfolds through the changing relationships of the objects themselves.
